Up for grabs is one of my all-time favorites — the Seiko SBBN007 Tuna. This is a prime example of a no-nonsense, purpose-built Seiko diver, featuring a clean, uncluttered dial (free of the Prospex logo, Marinemaster text, etc.) and a uniquely Seiko case design free of the DiaShield coating. Thanks to Seiko’s case design magic, it wears much better than the dimensions would lead you to believe. For the longest time, I avoided Tunas and MM300s, but I’ve since found that both wear much smaller than expected due to their unique case shape and short lug-to-lug distance. This is easily the cleanest example I’ve ever come across. Aside from a few minor signs of wear, it’s mint and running fantastic. It remains completely original — unmodified and never refurbished. It will come mounted on an Uncle Straps GL831 and include a genuine Seiko box and paper set (note: not original to this watch). I know I’ll regret letting this one go, but I’m thinning out my collection ahead of an upcoming move overseas early next year.
