The “Special” designation isn’t just for show—Seiko used it to mark higher-regulated movements. Powered by the high-end 5216 automatic calibre from the Daini factory, this movement was part of Seiko’s last push to outdo their Suwa counterparts. Though Daini is long gone, its innovations live on in modern Credor and Alpinist models. The watch is in great condition with only minor scratches. The crystal is clear and the dial is clean showing no aging for its age. The watch diameter is 37mm, thickness of 10mm and lug width of 19mm. The movement is recently serviced, keeping excellent time. The watch comes with original bracelet that fits up to 7.2 inches wrist.
