[WTS] Tom Ford No.002 Titanium Automatic Chronograph, LE/150
Good evening, WatchEx! Just one for tonight (hopefully catching up on a *ton* of listings in the next week or so post wedding): a surprisingly cool Ti Swiss chrono with fixed lugs from Tom Ford, the No.002 limited edition of 150. If you been following my listings, you know that I'm a sucker for a stealthy watch and an even bigger sucker for a cool chronograph. This watch just simply made sense, and I'm extremely impressed with it. Tom Ford is more largely known for suits/cologne, but this is a big step up from what you'd expect from a fashion designer/brand watch. The layout is pretty simple/clean - a two-register chrono with date, powered by the bullet-proof Sellita SW510 (a very mildly improved Valjoux 7750.) The markers/numerals are cleanly applied with a very subtle, low-profile raised look, and the white lume-painted hands offer a clean contrast against the matte black. The case is the real statement here - black DLC coated titanium with a pretty unique fixed lug structure. This will limit your strap options a bit, but the look is absolutely killer with a nice nato or single-pass strap - the white one in photos is OEM, the other two are aftermarket (new.) The lug width calls for 22mm, but as the titanium lugs are bridged, a 20mm strap will also do the job. The box/presentation is exactly what you'd expect from Tom Ford if you've ever had their colognes - clean, simple, and elegant. It's not too bulky if a watch, either - 43mm, but wears nicely on my 6.75" wrist thanks to a relatively short lug to lug distance. It's all dial, so it will looker bigger than it feels, if that makes sense. The black color way was a wise choice as it does make it look a bit more inconspicuous. This is in brand new condition, only tried on for photos. Box, booklet etc all included, as well as the two additional straps in photos - I've got a lot more single-pass straps that I'd be happy to include as well, but not many with black hardware. This model is limited to 150 pieces, and had an ambitious MSRP of ~$3k - but I've priced it more accordingly with other lesser-known chronographs I've had in the past. Quick Specs: - Reference: TF002 - Titanium Case, Black DLC Coating (brushed finish) - 43mm Case - 14mm Thin - 22mm Lug Width (20mm straps also work well, technically there's no minimum size with fixed lugs) - 3bar/30m Water Resistance - Movement: Sellita SW510 Automatic Chronograph - Includes all items seen in Timestamp photos (minus the watch stand) - Mint, new condition. Tons of refs on here, hundreds more on various reputable watch groups on Facebook. Sale heavily preferred, trades considered around the $900 mark, or trade + cash going either way. Thanks for looking - Cheers!
