The Hermetic was a series of waterproof watches released by Zodiac in the 50s. Many of them had hacking seconds, something that wasn’t common as the name and was mostly reserved for military watches. This brings us to today’s timepiece. Powered by a reliable ETA 1080 manual wind movement, the watch features a gold-plated case measuring 32.5mm and a silver/white dial with applied numerals. It seems someone welded the springbars in place, which is unfortunate.  **Details & More** **Condition:** Okay. Some signs of wear on the case, as some of the plating is falling off. The dial is in decent condition, but the crystal has some markings. Please see the pictures for full condition and clarity. **Case size:** 32.5 x 39.1mm gold-plated case with a thickness of 9.6mm and an 18mm lug width. **Crystal:** Acrylic, with some scratches. **Movement:** ETA 1080, manual wind with 17 jewels, a beat rate of 18,000 bph, and a 42-hour power reserve.
