Hey WatchExchange ! Up for sale is my trusty Omega Seamaster 2234.50.00 from 2002! Asking price : a negotiable 2650€ + shipping costs. Watch is in great condition with only slight scratches on the clasp and the bracelet. The aluminium bezel is in pristine condition and the movement was serviced last year (not through Omega but by a former Swatch employee who still has access to all original parts – those will be included). Jumping hour mechanism is brand new and the watch runs at about +-2 sec/day. Comes with original box and papers. I’m the 3^(rd) owner and this watch was basically a safe queen until it arrived in my hands. I have sold through Reddit before (DM, not through this sub, don’t hesitate to ask for reference) and I have many references on Vinted, Chrono24 and eBay combined. I can arrange whatever for shipping, I’ll adapt if you have (reasonable) preferences. Based in EU but open to international shipments. Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
