Pierre Cardin was one of the most influential fashion designers of the 1970s. While he was taking over the fashion world, he partnered with Jaeger Paris (Jaeger had already joined with LeCoultre, but Jaeger still had operations in France) to produce a number of watches in the Espace line. Here is one of the coolest ones. 32mm wide in two-piece construction with 20mm fixed lugs. Wears larger as a square, so think of it like more industrial Cartier Tank. This comes with the original strap and hard to find buckle, but can fit any 20mm nato (how I generally wore it). Manual wind FHF36 movement (from what would become ETA). Funky and a very cool way into vintage. Looking for $600 shipped in CONUS. References here, ebay, watchuseek. Happy to provide more photos or jump on a facetime. Zelle preferred.
