Nodus is one of the best affordable micro brands on the market right now, and some of their Design Lab stuff is especially great. This, the Trailtrekker GMT, might be their best release to date. It's design takes cues from the classic Explorer II, but livens it up with an earthy olive/grey DLC Coating and dial. It's very well-proportioned and meant to fit a wide variety of wrists sizes. The bracelet is definitely a highlight, but it also comes with a matching olive canvas single-pass strap that's extremely comfortable. This is a definitive field watch - ready for the elements, travel, and a beating. It houses a "true" GMT movement, has a very convenient micro-adjust in the clasp, and is very comfortable for daily wear. The fixed 24-hr bezel also has an olive-ish Cerakote finish, further increasing scratch resistance and overall toughness. The inspiration from Raven's Trekker watch is apparent - and such a fun collab. Raven has been a star in the microbrand world for over a decade, specializing in high-utility, adventure ready watches.
