The Grand Seiko Spring Drive needs no introduction, it’s a modern day marvel of a movement! And the SBGA467 is a fantastic way to get into one at an incredible price, especially this 2-year-old full AD set example! REF: SBGA467 SERIAL: 1O03XX DATE: 2022 DIAL: The deep black dial really helps set off the renowned GS polishing on the hands and hour markers. This is sort of like their Explorer 1, with some cool oversized markers that have almost a tapestry finish at 6,9, and 12 - just gorgeous, no surprise their being a Grand Seiko dial. Incredibly clean included the sapphire crystal. CASE: 40mm stainless case wears perfectly (photographed on my 6.6 inch wrist.) Wear throughout, from daily use, mostly noticeable on the upper portion of the bezel and a bit on the side - magnified in bright light and a strong macro lens, minimal on the wrist and still looks great. MOVEMENT: Grand Seiko’s 9R65 spring drive movement with a 72 hour power reserve and accuracy within app 0.5 seconds a day, all resulting in that mesmerizing, smooth sweeping seconds hand - bringing modern tech to historic horology! BRACELET: Stainless GS bracelet feels incredible, and is full, includes a spare half link. Wear throughout, most noticeable on a few links and clasp, but still looks great.
