Up for sale is this large and lovely vintage Longines Ultra Chron watch. The stainless steel front loading case measures 42 mm from 3 to 9 o’clock and 38 mm from 12 to 6 o’clock excluding hidden signed crown. The back of the case has a charming non obtrusive engraving as seen in the photo. The stunning silver grey dial with its raised applied markers with onyx inserts beautifully complements the internal non rotating bezel. The watch utilizes the Longines high frequency cal 431 with its smooth sweep second hand. The 20mm lugs are fitted with a rally strap that has plenty of life left. Though I don’t know its service history, the watch operates flawlessly. $550 with free shipping in CONUS. International buyers to discuss shipping.
