This gorgeous Seamaster is complete with its Limited Edition wallet and includes all cards and original chronometer hang tag and purchase receipt. The watch will arrive in a brand new Omega Seamaster Box set which includes the outer white box, inner wooden box and travel case. This box set is not original to the watch but was purchased as a replacement due to the original being lost. Also included is an Omega Manual (1/14 edition, which is an accurate edition for this watch’s production year) also not original to the watch but purchased as a replacement as stated above.

Considered by Omega to be “The Ultimate Planet Ocean”, this beauty took the seamaster collection to a new level. The Liquidmetal alloys hardness is three times as great as that of stainless steel. Its amorphous structure allows it to bond seamlessly with the ceramic bezel. The final, perfectly smooth bezel is particularly resistant to scratching and corrosion because of the hardness of the two components. In regards to the design, The dial and bezel are what sets this watch apart from every Omega produced before it. They are beautiful, exceptional, and extremely photogenic. The text on the dial has a character and depth not previously seen, especially the red Seamaster text which floats against the sea of black while standing quite proud of the surface. While there is no display-back option like on the Calibre 8500 Planet Oceans, the caseback contributes to the relatively thin 14.5 mm overall case height by ensuring impressive water resistance without taking up much vertical space.

The watch is in Mint condition, just out from a full external refurbishment with barely any marks to be found and with a service just one year ago! There is one mark on the bezel, just below the number seven baton. The boxes are brand new as stated above and are in perfect condition as is the wallet and cards. The manual is in near perfect condition and has minor signs of wear. This piece was kept in great working order by its original owner - a watch enthusiast - and it is keeping great time when tested on my timegrapher.

This is a watch that countless collectors have regretted ever selling and countless more wish that they owned. In terms of the quality, the historical significance, and the beauty of the watch, it is hard to find any diver to match it even more than a decade later. Simply superb, and the best Planet Ocean model ever made!
