Today I am presenting a very awesome vintage Omega model with a super rare lumed "Explorer" dial and original lume syringe hands (all original lume and printing intact). This watch has developed an incredibly neat patina on the dial with the original cream color having turned into mostly a metallic orange-copper hue while some of the lume has turned to an almost faded pinkish color. Super neat radium lumed Explorer 12/3/6/9 dial with diamond lume plots between, plus the center Sweep Second hand with outer seconds track create a sweetly balanced dial. The beautiful and large Omega Caliber 283 is based on the famed 30T2 model (with the addition of incabloc shock protection) and provides a robust manual wind engine for this beautiful watch. All of this is housed in the oversized 36mm case making this a highly desirable and collectable piece. Watch measures 36mm with 18mm lugs. With a lug to lug measurement of 43mm the size works very well on most wrist sizes.
