Here we have a rare, limited edition piece that Audemars Piguet only made 2000 of in honor of Nick Faldo’s two consecutive championships at the Masters and the British Open in 1990. The AP Royal Oak 56175TT Championship Limited Edition Nick Faldo Tantalum. Reference number: 56175TT Year: Open date Dimension: 33mm but these wear bigger so it fits like a 36. This is due to the case design and the integrated bracelet. Comes with the original papers, and a service card from the manufacturer from 2011. It’s not everyday you come across these with papers! Powered by a 2612 Quartz movement, this rare timepiece was ahead of it’s time using two metals not often seen together, stainless steel and tantalum. For those who don’t know tantalum is a rare and heavy metal. Similar in weight to platinum, it makes for a great wrist feel. The watch is in overall good pre-owned condition for the age. Take a look at the condition in the photos. Dial is in good shape shape. Clean dial and lume on the hands and indices. The bezel is crisp and has sharp lines. Sharp case.
