Who are you? : I'm just a guy who likes watches. A bit too much if you ask me to be honest. If you like watches why are you selling it? : Due to personal reasons I am slimming down my watch collection significantly. As in, I'm keeping my Snowflake and getting rid of the rest. As much as I like watches I found that I'm only wearing my Snowflake and the other 10 watches are just sitting in my display case looking pretty. I don't like that. I want these watches to be worn and enjoyed. If not by me then by somebody else who appreciates it. What is this watch? : It's a 45KS. Or a King Seiko 45-7000. As written on the dial, it's got a Hi Beat movement. Which means it ticks a lot faster than other watches. More ticks means higher accuracy and a smoooooooooth glide of the seconds hand. What is it for? : It's quite slim so I'd say it'll be a perfect dress watch. Great to turn the heads of actual watch enthusiasts if you ask me. A Rolex might turn the heads of common people but a 45KS would turn the heads of people who like to listen to the machine actually tick. Also it doesn't have a date complication. Which is a huge plus because it's a) A manual wind watch and b) the power reserve is quite short, about 40 hours. If you had a date complication on such a watch you'd either have to keep it wound everyday. Or set the date, making sure it's not near midnight and set the watch whenever you want to wear it. But without it you can just pick it up, wind it up, set the time and enjoy! Great, but is the watch in good condition? : The photos should speak for themselves. The Grammar of Design caselines are nice and sharp, with no machine polishing done to it. And the original crystal has no deep scratches, cracks nor clouding. The caseback features an almost intact gold KS emblem and all the engravings are crisp and legible. However, the dial - along with the case - is the stand out here. The starburst dial features crisp legible writing with intact applied Seiko and KS logos. There are no blemishes or dial edge patina commonly seen on lesser examples, and the handset also looks great! The 45KS really is a beauty and pictures don't do justice. There are plenty of glamor shots out there. Google them and see for yourself! Cool, so how much is it? : I'm asking for 950 USD That's a bit steep : Hold your horses now. Let me tell you what you get with the watch! Fine : You get with the watch the following 1. A full grain leather deep blue watchstrap 2. A sapphire exhibition caseback for when you want to see the movement inside! (This caseback alone costs around 130 USD) 3. A watch sized hardcase with which I'll ship the watch to you 4. Free shipping. I'm sending this from South Korea. You'll be waiting a week or two so the least I can do is foot the bill 5. As you can see in the photos, the watch was overhauled very recently. About 2 weeks ago in fact when I decided to sell her. The watch has been deep cleaned and freshly lubricated. When you get the watch, it'll be as good as it'll ever be. It's currently runs +3 seconds per day. There's a video of the watch getting reassembled available if you want to see for yourself also! Just don't expect wristwatch revival haha. (This overhaul costed me around 170 USD) 6. And of course you get to own one of the most beautiful watches out there! Awesome how do I pay you: I'll send you a paypal invoice! Contact me via DM! This is my first time selling and I forgot to post a picture of the watch with my username(a timestamp). Here it is in the link!
