Good evening, WatchEx! First of four tonight, a very classy handwound piece from British brand Farer: the Durham in Salmon/Slate. Farer is and has been among my favorite brands of the 2020's - their consistent use of fun and unusual colorways has always had my attention. This, the Durham, is a bit more refined, and a dressier salmon dial with a dark gray ring around the center of the dial. Powered by Farer's redecorated handwound SW216-1 Elaboré grade movement, this Farer dresses up exceptionally well, and works with just about any strap you want to match it with. It comes with a fantastic Gull Grey Granola leather strap (standard sized, will fit up to 8.5"), I've also paired it with a slim black leather that I think suits it perfectly. The dial is a beautiful cool shade of salmon/copper, with black Roman numerals around a small-seconds track. The case is a curvaceaous, modernized cushion style that wears extremely comfortably on just about any wrist. It was a lot of fun to photograph this along with my two Fears Brunswick salmon dials - it feels like a slightly more modern version of the Brunswick 38 I have in my profile - and about 1/3 the price. This model is limited to 200 pieces (#168, if that matters to you), and is in like-new condition with no notable flaws. Complete set, card dated 10/2022.
