Few better ways to start off the week then with an icon, the Cartier Tank. Could run you through the list of legends who have worn these over the years, but let’s just say it’s extensive. Been a design icon for decades! So many iterations released but what we have here is about as classic as it gets, within the Must de line of Tanks this is it, the lemon Roman dial. And this one is CLEAN, with a grab and go quartz movement complete with original Cartier strap, buckle, box, and booklets! YEAR: App late 70s - mid 80s DIAL: Such a legendary design, the lemon Roman dial screams classic Cartier! Beautiful condition, even under a loupe it’s hard to find a flaw, just gorgeous! CASE: This is the vintage men’s version, measuring in at 23.5MM x 30.5MM. A small and classy watch, equally suitable as a men’s or unisex swatch. Pictured on my 6.6 inch wrist, it wears beautifully. The Vermeil case, a Cartier staple of gold over sterling silver appears unpolished with a few areas of light patina forming on the gold. Has wear very light throughout, as to be expected given the age but none of the gold loss usually found on the edges, all in one of the nicest I’ve had my hands on! MOVEMENT: Grab and go quartz working perfectly as expected! STRAP: Comes on its original dark brown Cartier strap with original Cartier buckle. Strap has wear of course, given the age, but still looks and feels beautiful, and pretty amazing to find complete. (Happy to include a new strap if buyer would like, but definitely want to keep these together!)
