Dear Forum -- For your consideration from my private collection, a very nice Rolex GMT 1675 from 1977. I have owned and cared for this watch for several years, wearing it sparingly which is why I have decided to let someone else enjoy it.

The watch is completely original boasting a period correct MK 5 dial with 'Maxi' lume plots. The dial is simply gorgeous and flawless with matching handset. No relume or lume loss to be found, it's large plots stand out when you look at the watch, indicative of the MK5 dials. The tritium has aged to a beautiful creamy patina which changes colors depending on light. I personally love the color of the markers which are complimented nicely with the insert.

The case is in superb condition, displaying thick sharp chamfers showing very little wear on the polished sections. Lug holes are crisp, no cratering which is a big pet peeve for me. The top of the lugs have excellent factory brushed steel finish with no major blemishes. The crown guards are thick and square at the top, with clean crown tube which sets this watch apart.

The insert pulls all the above components together. The absolutely stunning and vibrant Fat Font Pepsi Red Back makes this watch stand out. It compliments the dial nicely and makes the markers 'pop'.

The bracelet is a period correct 78360 with 580 endlinks and correct VC clasp code. It has minimal stretch and blemishes.

Most on this forum know my passion for GMT's, I love the reference and have owned & handled hundreds over the years. This watch checks all boxes, it has a flawless dial, unbelievably thick case and killer insert. The watch runs very well and has not been serviced during my ownership. If you're looking for a period correct honest 1675, this is it.
