It's in great condition for its age, winds very smoothly, and the alarm works great (audio file link below). The watch is running between 0 and +4 sec/day; not too shabby. The domed, sapphire crystal is in excellent condition. According to my research, the eight-digit serial number can be broken down to estimate the date of manufacture. The first number is “7”, which implies that the watch was made in a year ending in 7, likely 1967, based upon the engraved words “Parawater” and “Star.” The next two digits reveal the month the watch was produced, which is September (09) in this case, and it was the 1,178th unit produced that month. The watch comes with an original branded, Citizen box and mounted on a discontinued, Black Label “Mallic Oak” calfskin leather strap from Crown & Buckle. Worn sparingly, I'm selling it to trim down my collection.
