[WTS] Incipio V “GMT Master” 1/400 ETA 2893-2 Japanese Market Exclusive
This is a very rare Incipio V, a watch contract produced for the Japanese watch magazine Watch Begin in the 1990s. To purchase, you had to enter a contest through the magazine. Only 400 units were produced, apparently in Switzerland, with an ETA 2893-2 movement inside. It is dimensionally accurate to the watch it resembles, at 39mm across, 12mm thick, and 48mm lug-to-lug. The lugs are 20mm and drilled. The stainless steel case is 10 ATM (not 50m per the dial) water resistant with a screw-down crown and caseback. Bezel is 60-click bidirectional. Timestamp: [https://imgur.com/QkbYWtp](https://imgur.com/QkbYWtp) Gallery: [https://imgur.com/a/xjr14yI](https://imgur.com/a/xjr14yI) The watch is running beautifully, showing 0 s/d, 286 degrees amplitude, and 0.2ms beat error face up on my Weishi 1000. It shows light wear but appears to have hardly been used in the 30-odd years since it was built. No known functional issues. This Incipio is stunningly rare, extremely wearable, has a very interesting backstory, and is not so precious that it can’t be worn out and about. I purchased it as an interesting GMT GADA watch, but it’s too nice for me. Clearing this and many other watches from my personal collection out and making a move on a bigger fish.Comes with its original unsigned bracelet, sized for ape 7.25-7.5 inch wrists.
