The Cartier Tank Americaine is a pretty amazing piece of design. Cartier first released this in 1987, 70 years after the initial release of the Tank, and yet the design is very Art Deco. As Tanks become ever more popular by the day (as they should) this one helps you stand out of the crowd! REF: WSTA0044 SERIAL: 427527894XXX YEAR: 2022 DIAL: Class meets drama! Just so cool, the silver has a gorgeous tone to it, the Roman numerals are quintessential Cartier. And as you can see being nearly new, it’s in fantastic condition, including the sapphire crystal. CASE: 23mm x 42MM stainless case. It’s basically the same width as a vintage men’s Cartier Tank but then spreads across the entirety of the wrist - such a funky design and extremely comfortable to wear (photographed on my 6.6 inch wrist.) Case is in great shape, a few light marks on the thick polished front, a couple of marks on the brushed sides, but extremely clean! LOVE the chunky crown on these, and of course the classic blue cabachon! MOVEMENT: Service history unknown, but as you would expect from a 1.5-year-old Cartier automatic it’s is running beautifully - winding smoothly, setting perfectly, and timegrapher numbers are great at 10 seconds a day with a very healthy amplitude of 297. STRAP: Comes on a barely worn non-Cartier crocodile strap - the butterscotch color is the perfect combination of funky and classic, I think it pairs beautifully. Complete with its original Cartier deployant clasp. ACCESSORIES: This comes with the red Cartier box, Cartier tool, and the original Cartier guarantee card. Great collector set!
