Perfectly suited to the era * *Lever case*. Gently pull down on the lever to release the crown and make adjustments. The Italian precursor to the screw-down crown. * *GMT*. The independently moving GMT hand allows you to track an additional time zone of your choosing. It also features a quick set function (crown turned in Position 1). The GMT hand can also be used to give you the direction of North\*. * *Date*. Standard date complication, with a date wheel that matches the dial. * *Stainless Steel case*. Polished all over finish. I tried both the brushed and the polished cases, and despite the 1940s vibe polished was the perfect finish. * *Crystal*. Single domed to give the edge of the dial the warping you'd expect from a vintage timepiece. * *24 Hour dial edge*. No bezel insert needed as the edge dial allows you to easily read the 24 hour markers. * *Skeleton hands*. Intricate C3 lumed hands that give the watch a very subtle modern twist. * *Strap*: A deep burgundy leather buckled strap. * *Movement*. A new NH34 movement regulated by me. I always regulate to +/- 4 seconds. It's possible that transit might mess with a watch's movement, but I haven't had any complaints so far about my watches arriving and being inaccurate. I certainly package watches appropriately. \*Set GMT hand to track +0:00 GMT time. Lie watch flat. Point hour at the sun. North is exactly between the GMT hand and the Hour hand. This is some true boy scout stuff.
