Needs repair! Watchmaker in my area of Florida quoted me $75, but it may be different where you are. I just don’t feel like dealing with it. A watchmaker should buy this watch and make some $$$. These things sell for $350, and this one has the extra original two tone bracelet, plus another stainless bracelet that is on the watch now. Here’s the problem, the dial is loose. Probably a broken dial foot. It simply needs to be stuck down with some dial tape, or glue if you want to go that route. I thought I would do it myself, so I pressed the button and pulled the crown and stem, which slid right out. Then I said, wtf am I doing, I better take this to a watchmaker, so I slid the crown and stem back in. Unfortunately, when I did that, the keyless works slipped out of alignment when the stem was removed or reinserted. Most likely, per the watchmaker, the setting lever / yoke is no longer sitting in its groove on the stem. The watch is stuck in date-setting mode because the clutch isn’t being shifted. TO BE CLEAR, the watch is still running and keeping perfect time. However when you turn the crown, rather than winding, the date changes. And you can’t pull the crown out into the second position currently. However, if you hit the release button, the stem still comes out. I am told it’s not a huge deal as nothing is “broken”, but that’s the deal. The Watch has normal minor wear throughout, the typical light scuffs of use, but no major flaws cosmetically. Otherwise, this is an absolutely beautiful heavy duty jazzmaster in very good used condition. Ask questions. Thanks. Asking $125 shipped.
