A collectible piece from Citizen’s 1970s chronograph lineup with its original black case finish. Details: • Brand: Citizen • Model: Challenger Chronograph • Reference: 67-9577 • Year: 1973 (confirmed by serial) • Movement: Citizen automatic chronograph, 23 jewels • Dial: Black with contrasting blue/red subdials, day/date at 3 o’clock • Functions: Chronograph with flyback feature, day/date complication • Case: Stainless steel with original black coating. Some edge wear where the coating has naturally faded, showing steel underneath (honest vintage patina). • Caseback: Signed Citizen, Ref. 67-9577 engraved • Strap: Olive green NATO strap included • Condition: Good vintage condition overall.
