Hey WatchEx! Up for sale is 3 of my watches. first a Squale Y1545 diver, Second a Seiko SRPK31 and last a Laco Aachen 39 fleiger watch - Squale Y1545: Got this from a fellow WatchEx user on trade but wanna get a newer Squale. Watch is in pretty good condition but has some scratches on the bracelet and some rubbing marks by the clasp. Watch is 40mm and has a 48mm LTL. Asking $579 OBO - Seiko SRPK31: bought this straight from Seikos website for $325, watch has scratches on the bracelet and some chips on the bezel but the case is in good condition. Asking $190 OBO - Laco Aachen 39: bought this from the Laco booth at the Wind Up watch fair in NYC. Watch has Type B dial and an open case back. Has scratches on the buckle and some scratches on the case. This was my original GADA watch so I wore it a lot. Asking $279 OBO Tried to get a picture of each watches flaws so if you need/want more pictures or a video feel free to ask. Each is priced fully shipped as well. Located in NJ and can take Zelle, Venmo or PayPal

Squale was founded by Charles von Büren in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, in 1946 as a manufacturer of watchcases and other components for other watch brands. Originally, the "Squale" mark appeared on watches as a symbol of the case's origins and pride in its quality.

In 1950, von Büren S.A./Montres began to produce their own range of professional diving watches under the Squale brand name. These watches were not marketed for jewelry shops but rather specialty dive stores.

During the 1960s and 1970s, Squale provided cases for Altanus Genève, Arlon, Potens Prima, Prima Flic, Jean Perret Geneva, Ocean Diver / Blandford, Deman Watch, Margi, Berio, Eagle Star Genève, La Spirotechnique, Wertex, Carlson Tavernier Geneva, and Sinn. Cases designed for 500m water resistance with the crown located at the "4 o'clock" position were sold to Airin, Dodane, Blancpain, Tag Heuer, Doxa, Zeno, and Auricoste. Squale also supplied the parachutists corps "Folgore Brigade" part of the Italian Airforces ("Aeronautica Militare Italiana") and the Italian Navy’s Diving Corps ("Marina Militare Italiana") with timepieces during this period.
