It’s the Seiko SCVK001, released in 1992. The Seiko SCVK001 has often been celebrated as the models with the 4S35 movement that inspired Grand Seiko to pursue mechanical movements again. Powered by the 4S35 movement, which was derived from the legendary 52 movement. A true chronometer grade movement with a thin design (capable of 9.9mm thick timepieces). Factory set to +15/-10 seconds but easily capable of chronometer accuracy. Think of the current 6L35 as the equivalent to the 4S35. Some great elements of Seiko’s Grammar of Design as well!
