This is a BRAND NEW MB&F M.A.D.1s in ice blue. It hasn't been worn and the protective plastic is still on it! Get this rarity while it lasts!!! I probably don't need to tell this community anything about Maximilian Büsser, MB&F, or the M.A.D. watches. I just want to share an observation or two about how amazing the new 1s is. As much as the M.A.D.1 broke the mold and encouraged other artistes to issue more budget-friendly timepieces, the 1s is a game changer. One of the few complaints about the 1 was its size - it was quite thick, coming in at nearly 19mm with a domed crystal on top of it! The watch was futuristic and almost alien, yet it was not the greatest daily wearer as a consequence. The 1s addresses that wonderfully. Not only is the thickness down to 15mm, but, when combined with a less domed crystal and lower profile lugs, it is not wonderfully wearable. This is now a dress-down and dress-up watch capable of becoming a true GADA. I was stunned when I put it to my wrist - the experience is entirely different from the M.A.D. 1!!! Coupling that with the new, much improved Swiss Made La Joux-Perret G101 movement, running at 4Hz with 68 hours of power reserve, has made the 1s the finest in the M.A.D. universe (IMHO). I know that I will probably regret letting this one go, but I am going to stick with my OG M.A.D.s (Blue and Red) for the time being. My loss will be your gain, I promise! Price is $4100.
