It features 17 jewels, a single 30-minute register at 6 o'clock, and a day/date indicator with Seiko's signature quick-set mechanism. Affectionately nicknamed the "Helmet," the bold, angular case design resembles a space helmet, making it a standout piece for collectors. The unpolished case showcases its originality, while the tachymeter bezel adds a practical touch for speed calculations.
