Up for sale is this Vintage 1948 Bulova Capitan Art Deco. A beautiful rectangular corner cut case featuring a raised flat top crystal. It also features Arabic numerals and a sub-seconds feature on the 6 o’clock marker, and the original crown. Dimensions Width: 24mm (25 with crown) Thickness: 10mm Movement: It features a 10 BH, 17 jewels hand wound movement which has been recently serviced. The movement is flawless, and keeps up to 24 hours of time in a single wind, with only +/- 7/8 seconds of variation, which is very impressive considering this is a nearly 80 year old watch. Watch Condition: The case back has scratches, while the sides and the front are considerably cleaner. The dial itself is in beautiful condition, with minor ‘pimples’ on it which can be seen in the pictures. The watch comes with an aftermarket, recently installed Hirsch black leather strap which compliments the watch beautifully.
