Affectionately known as the 'Fifty-Five Fathoms', this recreation captures the charm of the original, while introducing some upgrades. This model is powered by the workhorse 4R36 which has a 41 hour power reserve, hacking and handwinding and is running well within manufacturer specification. The star of the show is the dark navy blue dial with minimized text and obstruction to highlight the beautiful blue sunburst and applied polished faceted indices. Its also sporting a hardlex crystal bezel insert and notched bezel that are unique to this release in the SRPD series. Seiko outfitted this model with a display caseback and it has a slightly domed crystal for a really neat magnification effect. It comes on the full, unsized factory bracelet (still in plastic), and includes the box, warranty card and manual. Asking price is $250 and I'll cover shipping anywhere in the CONUS via USPS.
