Greetings Watchexchange! Up for sale is a spectacular Seiko 3862-7001 QR from December 1973. These early Seiko quartz watches were extremely high end back in the day, priced close to their KS and GS mechanical counterparts, they were built with high end components as Seiko was pushing their new Quartz technology. The 38 caliber was the first commercially available Seiko quartz caliber. These watches were also really thick compared to modern quartz movements, just a testament to how far technology has come. The watch measures 37mm in diameter, with an 18mm lug width, and comes on an aftermarket leather strap. The crystal protrudes far from the case with a beautiful bevel. The watch is priced to sell at $165 paid via Zelle or Wise and shipped via UPS.
