Good evening, WatchEx! Just one today: The Mido x Hodinkee Ocean Star GMT collab, limited to 999 pieces and long sold out. This is a watch I've owned before, and I'm just as impressed now as I was roughly 11 months ago when I had another. I don't say this about a lot of watches, but I'm not sure there's anything on this watch I'd want them to do differently. Great finishes? Check. Comfortable on any strap/bracelet? Check. Unique/vintage diver aesthetic? Check. Perfect size? Check. Movement? Big check. The Mido x Hodinkee collab is probably best compared to the Longines Spirit Zulu - comparable movement, wears similarly, and finished just as nicely. I've owned both the 42 and 39mm Zulu, and this feels like a nice middle ground, size wise. The mesh bracelet is comfort and easy to adjust, and if bracelets aren't your thing, the included leather or textile straps are both exceptional as well. This limited edition (999) Mido comes equipped with a true-GMT automatic movement, where the hour hand jumps with a turn of the crown, and the date is cycled by throwing the hour hand ahead. These "quick-set/flyer" GMT are designed for extreme ease of use - when you've reached your new time zone, the GMT hand stays on whatever base time you've set, and you can simply advance/reverse the hour hand with one quick twist of the crown. The 80-hr power reserve will keep it humming even after setting it aside for a long weekend. Quick Specs: - Reference: M026.829.11.051.00 - 316L Stainless Steel - 40.5mm Case - 13.43mm thin (including box sapphire crystal) - 21mm Lug Width (they've graciously included three strap options) - 20bar Water Resistance (200m) - Box Sapphire Crystal - Movement: Caliber 80 C07.661 - 80hr Power Reserve - Full kit with all booklets/card(s), additional Mido leather/nylon straps [Timestamp](https://imgur.com/a/36kSVVU) [Album](https://imgur.com/a/5GTF4xI) [Retail Link](https://shop.hodinkee.com/products/mido-ocean-star-gmt-limited-edition-for-hodinkee?variant=39821118177355&utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=surfaces-across-google&utm_term=39821118177355&srsltid=AfmBOooTgJ2Uiv2qPVVBSROHG7_5WKoo6fvTUnWuOgQTkonfOQvMnZo0A4c) This is in near-mint condition with zero notable flaws to be seen. I won't rule out the odd hairline on the caseback or buckle, but let the photos be your guide. I'm asking for a loosely negotiable $999, roughly $400 off from the retail price of this sold out Hodinkee collab. Price is shipped/insured within the US (UPS 3-Day), international shipping available at buyer's expense (typically not more than $50.) Zelle preferred, PP F&F/Venmo also accepted. Tons of refs on here, hundreds more on various reputable watch groups on Facebook. Sale preferred, priced to move. Thanks for looking - Cheers!
