Within the Must de Cartier line of Tanks this is THE one everyone’s after, the classic lemon Roman dial manual wound. And this is a gorgeous example that also just so happens to be the most complete set I’ve come across - gifting perfection! YEAR: 1982 DIAL: The lemon Roman dial screams classic Cartier. Beautiful condition, even under a loupe presents super clean. Crystal is incredibly clean as well - hard to find a nicer vintage example! CASE: This is the men’s version, measuring in at 23.5MM x 30.5MM. A small and classy watch, equally suitable as a men’s or unisex swatch. Pictured on my 6.6 inch wrist, it wears beautifully. The Vermeil case, a Cartier staple of gold over sterling silver appears unpolished with some beautiful light patina forming on the gold. Has wear throughout, as to be expected given the age but looks fantastic on the wrist. MOVEMENT: Hand wound mechanical movement running beautifully. Service history is unknown, but winding and setting is very smooth and timegrapher numbers are great at 8 seconds a day and a very healthy amplitude of 300! STRAP: Comes on a vintage black gator Cartier strap complete with Cartier buckle (light wear on both) AWESOME combo! ACCESSORIES: As mentioned, the most complete set I’ve come across: outer white Cartier box (almost never found since these fell apart, this one has wear but complete) red Cartier box, both Cartier guaranteed cards, all three Cartier booklets, and Cartier paperwork holder.
