# SBGF017 Video: [https://imgur.com/a/lhUP6zD](https://imgur.com/a/lhUP6zD) Selling a Grand Seiko SBGF017 (~~hornet~~ yellowjacket not included) driven by the 8J56 movement, which features a 5 year battery life (instead of the 3 year of the later 9F series) as well as an independently adjustable hour hand so that changing the time will not require re-syncing the watch (also something the 9F dropped). The case size is a very well-proportioned 38mm in width, with 44mm lug-to-lug and only 9.5mm thickness. The lug width is 19mm. The screwdown crown gives this a water resistance of 200m / 20bar, again superior (doubled) vs that of its successor models. The case and dial finishing is incredible, and the Tatami texture on the dial along with the thick applied markers combine to make a stunning piece. This example is worn condition but still presents well on the wrist, and comes double boxed with original hangtag and a bracelet measuring about 7.5" laid flat.
