Good evening, WatchEx! Just one tonight: the versatile Oris BC3 Advanced Day/Date in gunmetal/khaki. Oris is one of the first major brands I really got into, and the BC3 Advanced was one of the first models I owned (a silver/blue dial at the time that I sold because it reminded me of the Cowboys, ew.) I picked this one up out of nostalgia - and I'm glad I did. The BC3 Advanced line was a bit of a "land" cousin to the Aquis when it launched, though it's still very capable in aquatic environments. The original BC3 line (sans-Advanced) was introduced in the 2000's as a field watch. The "Advanced" moniker came along with a prettier array of dials, simplified Arabic numerals, and the addition of crown guards. The gunmetal finish and khaki numerals on this one are an excellent pairing - especially with the double-layered canvas strap it comes with (original, genuine Oris.) These are becoming incredibly difficult to find in decent shape (or at all) - and this one is mint. Original box/booklet are included, as well as a one-year warranty from Topper Jewelers from May 2024.
