Up for sale is this excellent condition Seiko Alpinist SPB298 “Mystic Forest”. Nobody does dials better than Seiko at the price and this is a magnificent example. I tried to do my best to showcase the dial in photos but it is leagues better in person.

The overall condition is excellent. The crystal is pristine and I don’t see any marks on the case sides and only minor swirls on the bracelet near the clasp. There are a couple of small surface marks on the clasp (which I am sure can be buffed out) and some micros on the polished bezel. The glass on the exhibition caseback is also pristine and if there are marks on the caseback I sure can’t see them.

Functionally, I have never had a better 6R35; it is running to within about +/3-4 spd but YMMV depending on wearing conditions. Everything works as it should… the screwdown mechanism is smooth and the date is centered and snaps into place when changed.

This is a full kit sale. Included is the original Prospex “Boutique Exclusive” box, unused Seiko deployant leather strap, hang tag, all documentation and removed bracelet links.

Watch Charts has the value at $634; I am priced well below that.
