For sale, Sinn 356 “Chronometer.” Before you google it, I am not sure that Sinn ever sold this as a chronometer, but look at the photos and you will see that this watch is indeed a chronometer. I am not sure the exact nature of Sinn’s branding around its chronometer status, but I believe it was tested and sold as a chronometer, and it is indeed keeping time within COSC spec. Okay, now that that’s out of the way, let’s talk about this very cool watch. The Sinn 356, aka the “poor man’s Speedmaster,” is an incredible little watch. 38mm diameter, reasonable thickness, bead blasted in its entirety. This particular one was from before they had an AD in the states and the date is in German, which is super cool. It was serviced and is keeping great time. Screw down crown ensures 100m water resistance. Plexi crystal, which means any scratches will polish right out. This one comes with a warranty card from its original purchase, proof of service, all extra links, and a Sinn OEM rubber strap. The condition is excellent, with one tiny mark on the crystal which would polish out with some plexiglass polish (I prefer to keep it there). As you will see in the photos, it is very, very, VERY subtle. Some very minor desk diving marks on the clasp.
