For your consideration today is a Rolex Sea-Dweller reference 116600 aka the “SD 4000” with its box and warranty card dated 7/31/2014. Only produced for a very short 3 year run, this reference has been the go to for collectors that are looking for a unique modern Rolex. This might be the best modern Sea-Dweller for me. The matte dial and no cyclops combination gives it a completely different aesthetic you wouldn’t find in any other modern Rolex. This also has to be the most wearable modern Sea-Dweller at 40mm. Wears like a Submariner, just a little thicker. A rare reference and a true “if you know, you know” piece. **Condition and performance report:** This one comes in great pre owned condition. The watch shows very light signs of wear with most wear visible in the clasp as usual. I would leave it as is, but if you prefer the watch to look brand new, let me know and I can have a polish arranged. I also have to note that the warranty card is slightly peeling. This watch is running spectacularly and is no need of any work.
