Beautiful Seiko SQ watch reference 5Y23-8A60 intended for the export market in a bi-color version, very similar to a datejust case with gold-colored fluted bezel and white dial with Roman hour markers. Watch was produced in the Daini factory, as can be seen by the Daini lighting bolt on the case back and at 6 o'clock on the dial. SQ stands for “Seiko Quartz” and was intended for the export market outside Japan, where in the 1990s this was a popular model that Seiko cleverly responded to.
