Good evening, WatchEx! First of the evening, quite a few coming up in the next 24 hrs: the Sinn 856 S, fully tegimented. My love for Sinn and my love for blacked out watches have paired up perfectly in this ultimate daily wearer - all of the utility/simplicity of the 856, with an extremely hard Tegiment treatment on their black DLC coating. The 856 is the 556's slightly larger brother (40mm), with a few extra tricks up it's sleeve - namely, the dehumidifying capsule embedded within the case. That little blue-ish dot you see near the 7 mark on the side of the case actively pulls any moisture from within the case, keeping things nice and dry. No fog here! This watch also has Sinn's patented Tegiment treatment, making the DLC extremely resistant (though not impervious) to scratches. This will take a beating and not show it nearly as easily as your average black/steel watch. The 856 S is one of Sinn's newer models, and this one was originally purchased in March 2023 - lots and lots of life left in this one. There's some very light wearing on the bottom end link, likely from the way the previous owner wore the watch. I've made it very visible in photos, but you'll never notice it on-wrist.
