For sale is a rare Seiko 6138-3009 chronograph. The 6138-3009 is the rarest sub variant of the Jumbos, believed to only have been made for 9 months for the North America market. The 3009 case has a wider bevel and lower crystal compared to the 3002 case. Case: The case has scratches from use but looks like it has never been polished and all the case lines are sharp. The watch will come on the OEM bracelet. The crystal has been replaced with an aftermarket sapphire crystal. Comes with two extra links. No guarantee on water resistance as this is a vintage watch. Dimensions: 42mm case, 19mm lug width. Movement: 6138 fully integrated automatic column wheel vertical clutch chronograph. 30 minutes and 12 hour counters. The reset is heavy on this one so take caution when reseting the chronograph. It is recommended to keep the chronograph running and limit resetting the chronograph. If you need to reset the chronograph, try to reset when the seconds hand is around 5 seconds either side from 12 o’clock to minimize the reset force. The movement was serviced in July 2023.
