A snow white, pressed, enamel dial, designed to pay homage to the late Riki Watanabe. Often considered *the* pioneer of modern Japanese design, Watanabe died in 2013 and Seiko collaborated with his design house on a handful of enamel dialled watches that took inspiration from Watanabe’s famous clock designs. The results are stunning; not only do they perfectly capture the “Riki Clocks”, but the high contrast visuals and intricate sub-dials harken back to Seiko’s early “Laurel” days. **Condition**: An immaculate sapphire crystal and exhibition case back. There are some absolute micro-abrasions on one side of a case, but I’m talking get-your-torch-out-and-squint sort of abrasions.
