On offer is this first series Rolex 1601 Datejust serial# 904,XXX from 1963 with the venerable caliber 1560 chronometer rated workhorse automatic movement. Watch is in very good overall condition with an EXTRA LONG BIG ROLEX buckle U.S.A. Jubilee bracelet (23 links). Bracelet has quite a bit of stretch and would be a good candidate to be tightened by the specialists who do this kind of work. All 23 links are in good shape without any gouges between the gold links and all of the welds in the gold links are intact and not opened. This watch will fit a wrist size of 8.5 inches! The awesome 'ghost' bronze sigma dial is in very good shape and compliments the original gold dauphine hands! Watch is running well, winds well and the date turns over as it should.
