Up for sale today is this vintage Rado Purple Gazelle with day and date. It has the original crown, signed RADO movement, original case, and fitted with an original, rare stainless steel bracelet. This movement is highly desirable and expensive ETA 2836-1. ETA 2836-1 is a modern movement with f = 28800 A/h and power reserve 40h, 25 jewels. Most vintage Swiss automatic runs at 1800 A/h or 21600 A/h. At 28800 A/h, it keeps highly precise time. The same movement is used in similar tier watches from Tag Heuer, Longines, etc. It is fully functional and keeps very precise time. As for all vintage watches, keep it away from water. Although I am pretty this watch is tight and water proof, I simply do not let it get near water.
