Hi everyone! I’m putting up a beautiful Omega Constellation ‘Pie Pan’ in steel. This is the well known and sought-after reference 168.005 sunburst dial variant model, with the robust caliber 561 automatic movement with date. The popularity and significance of the ‘pie panp is well known, and this one is no exception—it’s such a pretty piece in person! It has a great construction and feel to the well defined case design, and the well-proportioned 35mm dimension (excluding the crown), signature dog-legged lugs, and flat profile makes for an excellent dressy statement piece.  The white sunburst dial is as clean as you can get on these references. The dial is very well preserved, and apart from some very light patina on the Ohm logo and date window, everything is in excellent condition. Movement also runs perfectly with recent service just in December of 2025. Its beautiful and sharp case has been lightly polished in its lifetime, but all edges and beveled angles are where they should be and well-defined. The observatory emblem on the case is also super sharp with original textures in the background, with a protective sticker intact. Its crown is also original (10-sided) and correct! I’ve paired it with a new faux-alligator style leather strap in a beautiful black colour. I would like to think that this example is almost ‘Omega Enthusiast-worthy.
