Seiko Grand Quartz 4843-5100 is a vintage quartz watch produced by Seiko in the mid-1970s. It is part of the Grand Quartz series, which was Seiko's highest-end quartz watch line at the time. It is considered a watch with high collectible value due to its short production time and high-quality construction. The 4843-5100 is powered by the 4843B movement, an extremely precise quartz movement that is still considered one of the finest quartz movements ever made. Movement is accurate to 10 seconds per year. One nice feature is seconds hand automatically jumps 10 seconds ahead when pulled to set the time to make up for the duration. Day and date functions work well. 34mm x 40.7mm. Lug width 20mm I put it on a brand new leather strap with a butterfly clasp (unfortunately silver and not gold as the case).
