Hey all! Here is for sale a nice flexible bracelet from famous 20th century Swiss bracelet maker Gay Freres. Bracelet has signs of wear but it is in good shape having in mind it is from mid 1960s. Bracelet has straight lugs, both measures 17mm made to fit 17mm watch cases. This bracelet is featured on some Gay Freres adds and was named an “Extensibles sans fermoir” meaning expandable/stretch bracelets without clasp. On the inner side of the link supposed to be a clasp you can see GF goat stamp, Made in France, Stainless Steel and Depose. Total length of unstretched bracelet is 14cm, having in mind a watch case with 35-40mm it can easily fit an almost 17.5-18cm wrist size, but springs in links do they job really well and bracelet with watch can fit easily a 19-21cm wrist size. Bracelet looks good and has great historical value being one of the most recognized styles from Gay Freres, who produced bracelet for a vast variety of Swiss watch brands including Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Rolex, Jaeger LeCoultre, Zenith, Universal Geneve, IWC and many others before being bought by Rolex.
