The design draws inspiration from the shape of the Endurance space station, with two of the film’s iconic military robots featured at 4 and 8 o’clock. The 12/3/6/9 markers hide a Morse code message from the movie’s plot, while a ring of binary code along the outer edge reveals coordinates to a secret location. The dial was designed by me in LightBurn and crafted on my 50w fiber laser. It’s cut from a sheet of bronze, hand-painted, lacquered, and assembled into a 39mm gold case. Power comes from a durable NH38 automatic movement.
