This is a private label watch made for McKenzie & Co out of Bryan, Texas. I didn't find much info online about the jewelry store, but you can find scans of newspapers from the late 1800's that they advertised in. The watch winds, sets and runs but I did not test accuracy. My research indicates this Waltham hallmark was used on double stock cases they made which are **14k** over an **8k** core. I believe the case is original to the movement. I'm trying to avoid melting the case for scrap. Weight of the case without movement/crystal is 48 grams.
