Limited to just 800 pieces worldwide, this model pays tribute to Seiko’s long-standing mountaineering heritage while introducing a refined, contemporary aesthetic. The SPB532J1 features a white snow-textured dial inspired by alpine summits, exuding both clarity and depth under changing light. The dial layout is classic yet functional, displaying hours, minutes, seconds, and date, with strong LumiBrite application on the hands and markers for superior visibility in low light. A discreet inner rotating compass bezel further emphasizes the Alpinist’s adventuring spirit, controlled by a screw-down crown that ensures secure operation even under demanding conditions. Housed in a 39.5mm stainless steel case with a 13.2mm thickness, the watch offers balanced proportions and 200 metres of water resistance, making it versatile for everyday wear or outdoor exploration. The sapphire crystal adds a touch of refinement, while the blue nylon strap with leather lining provides both comfort and durability. Powering the watch is Seiko’s reliable Caliber 6R35, an automatic movement with hand-winding capability and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The movement runs at an accuracy of +25 to -15 seconds per day under normal conditions and can be admired through the see-through caseback, which is engraved with the limited-edition numbering. This example in brand new condition as it is taken directly from Hong Kong Seiko boutique, the caseback stamp and the sticker is still intact on the clasp.
