The case has been polished in the past The hallmarks can still be observed on the midcase. The midcase illustrates remnants of the maisons original satin finish. The case is 2x signed and matching. The crown and the crystal have been replaced in the past.  **DIAL**:  An original, silver, engraved, enamel dial. The maisons signature "Vacheron & Constantin Geneve", and the minute track were done in engraved enamel. The dial exhibits no signs of cleaning. Noted near the 12 o'clock hour markers we can observe a scartch on the dial that are exhibited in our detailed photographs. Please note these marks are illustrated through 50mm macro lens and are much less noticeable on the wrist at normal wearing distances. The hands are a replacement set.  **MOVEMENT**: Vacheron manually wound caliber 454. Vacheron's finishing prowess that they had come to be known for by the mid twentieth century is on full display as we see a myriad of finishing techniques including cotes de Genève, pearlage, anglage and black polishing.  The movement was serviced in 06/2025. The watch will come with a one year mechanical warranty dated from 06/2025.  **BRACELET**:  We have paired this beautiful watch with our "Ioustiniani" strap - an entirely handmade goat skin strap.
