Beautiful example of a classic 1601 Datejust with pie pan dial dating to about 1964 (I misremembered 1972, which is why I wrote 1972 in my timestamp – apologies!) based on the 1,0xx,xxx serial number. Recently serviced and running really well. Please note that this vintage Datejust does not hack and does not have a quick-set date change mechanism. Date clicks over crisply at midnight. Lack of quick-set is not an issue if the watch is worn regularly. Movement is running well, normal wear throughout - no significant dings, dents, etc. Crystal is clear and bracelet is super comfy with no significant stretch. Rolex travel pouch included.
